A growing construction company is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Project Manager to support construction operations across Houston, TX, and the surrounding areas.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong administrative project management skills, urgency, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. While the title is Project Manager, this role is heavily focused on project coordination, construction administration, financial tracking, and operational support. This role is ideal for someone with construction industry experience who enjoys the operational and administrative side of project management.

Preference will be given to candidates with construction industry experience and familiarity supporting Project Managers or managing construction project documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage AIA pay applications.

• Process and track change orders.

• Monitor accounts receivable and project billing.

• Track project profitability and project costs.

• Support and oversee day-to-day project operations.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

• Assist with project schedules, documentation, and reporting.

• Handle urgent and impromptu operational needs as they arise.

• Maintain strong communication across multiple active job sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field required.

• Minimum 2 years of construction industry experience.

• Experience preparing AIA billing/pay applications required.

• Strong understanding of change orders and project financial tracking.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

• Must live within reasonable commute of Plantersville, TX.
