Assisted Living CaregiverWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Assisted Living Caregivers. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living environment.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care and assistance to residents including bathing, grooming, and dressing.Assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety for all residents.Monitor residents' health and report any changes to nursing staff.Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs.Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.Document care provided and maintain accurate records using Point Click Care charting system.Shift DetailsThis position offers a variable schedule with shifts during the day and evening. The available hours are:6:30 am - 3:00 pm2:30 pm - 11:00 pmPatient PopulationThe caregiver will be working with a diverse patient population consisting of:32 residents in the general Assisted Living unit8 residents in a Memory Care Unit (totaling 40 beds)Patient RatioThe expected patient care ratio is 1 caregiver to 16 residents.RequirementsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Compassionate nature and commitment to providing excellent care.HousingOn-site housing options may be available upon request, depending on availability.
