Clinical Director

Job Title: Clinical Director (Physical Therapist) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinic Director to oversee the operations of a busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic while continuing to provide exceptional physical therapy services. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys balancing patient care with team development, operational oversight, and strategic clinic growth. The successful candidate will promote a collaborative workplace culture, maintain high clinical standards, and ensure an outstanding patient experience. Key Responsibilities Clinic Leadership & Operations Direct the day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic to ensure efficient workflow and high quality service delivery. Monitor clinic performance, scheduling efficiency, and productivity to support operational success. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by mentoring and supporting clinical and administrative staff. Partner with organizational leadership to implement initiatives that improve clinic performance and patient satisfaction. Patient Assessment & Treatment Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Design individualized treatment programs based on clinical findings, functional goals, and evidence-based practices. Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions while monitoring patient progress and modifying care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Community & Referral Development Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, referral partners, and community organizations. Support business development efforts by promoting the clinic's rehabilitation services and strengthening referral networks. Documentation & Compliance Ensure accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and quality assurance requirements. Qualifications Education Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Licensure Current and active Florida Physical Therapist license. Skills & Experience Previous experience treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Prior leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage clinic operations while maintaining a high standard of patient centered care. Demonstrated commitment to mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
