The Allyn Lodge is a premier wedding and events venue in the heart of the Finger Lakes, just outside the charming village of Skaneateles, New York. The largest freestanding timber structure in the state, it features floor-to-ceiling windows and a deck with stunning views of a private pond and the surrounding landscape.

Allyn Lodge is currently hiring Banquet Cooks . The Banquet Cook position is responsible for production, preparation and presentation of all banquets for the property in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations in a quality manner under the direction of the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:

• Production, Preparation and Presentation of food in the Restaurant
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations in a quality manner.
• Patients with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Must possess culinary knowledge and skills with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to describe all dishes on the menu
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• A team player with good communication skills

Qualifications:

• Must possess a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of Banquet Cook experience preferably in a high-volume hotel, banquet or catering facility in a quality culinary environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
