Speech-Language Pathologist in Concord, CA

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2024-2025 school year at a charter high school located in Concord, CA. This contract role focuses on supporting a primarily 9th-grade student population, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and language development.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 35-45 students.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student progress.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a high school setting.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
