Conflicts Administrator

Job Type Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) LHH is working with a leading law firm in seeking an experiencedConflicts Administratorto join their team in Los Angeles or San Francisco. This position plays a critical role in protecting the firm by identifying, researching, and analyzing potential conflicts of interest and ensuring compliance with ethical and professional responsibility requirements. The Conflicts Administrator will provide senior-level conflict analysis support to attorneys and staff, conduct and evaluate conflict searches, advise junior team members on search strategies and research methods, and summarize potential conflicts for review. This individual will work closely with attorneys, administrative staff, and fellow Conflicts Administrators to support the firm's new business intake process and maintain the integrity of conflict-related information within the firm's database. Responsibilities Research and analyze complex business relationships to identify potential legal and business conflicts of interest. Perform detailed conflict checks for new clients, matters, lateral hires, and business development initiatives. Review and evaluate conflict reports, summarize risk issues, and prepare recommendations for attorney review. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of information maintained within the conflicts and new business intake databases. Work closely with peer Conflicts Administrators to manage daily workflow related to conflicts clearance and new business intake requests. Coordinate projects and assignments with Conflicts Specialists and Assistants, reviewing complex work for accuracy and completeness as needed. Conduct corporate affiliation and entity research to verify client and party information. Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding conflicts procedures, policies, and intake requirements. Assist with resolving conflicts issues through research, analysis, and collaboration with attorneys and firm leadership. Monitor and prioritize high-volume intake requests while ensuring timely turnaround and adherence to service standards. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive client and firm information. Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of conflicts and intake procedures. Lead orientation and training programs for conflicts staff across multiple office locations. Conduct new attorney orientation sessions relating to conflicts clearance, intake procedures, and ethical compliance requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of law firm conflicts, risk management, or new business intake experience. Bachelor's degree required. Strong understanding of conflicts of interest principles, legal ethics rules, and law firm intake procedures. Demonstrated experience researching and analyzing complex corporate structures and business relationships. Experience using conflicts management and intake systems such as Intapp, Aderant, Elite, iManage Conflicts, or similar platforms. Ability to interpret conflict reports and identify potential legal and business risks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and senior leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
