Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time role, based near Des Plaines, IL, focuses on working with students in grades K-6, providing essential psychological services that promote educational success and emotional well-being.

The position begins July 27th or as soon as possible, and follows a schedule of 35-37 hours per week. You’ll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, with slightly extended hours on Wednesdays until 4:30 PM.

Desired Experience & Requirements:

• Holds valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials or eligibility for certification
• Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly with elementary (K-6) students, is highly valued
• Proficiency in assessments, data interpretation, and intervention planning
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Organizational skills and flexibility to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a wide range of psychological services, including assessments and evaluations, for students in kindergarten through sixth grade
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral supports, promoting positive mental health and social-emotional growth
• Deliver consultation and guidance to school personnel on effective academic and behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state, district, and legal guidelines
