We're seeking an experienced mechanical insulator. JRT works in a wide variety of commercial and industrial industries with projects that include food processing, large warehouses, schools, wastewater treatment plants, general commercial structures, refrigeration facilities and manufacturing plants to name a few. The job duties will include: Measure and cut insulation for covering pipe, duct & equipment Remove worn, damaged, or old insulation from pipe, duct & equipment. Determine the amount and types of insulation needed, and bestmethodof installation. Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements. Apply sealants or other protective coatings. Operatorscissor lifts be comfortable working in heights Material handling - Moving material around the job site. Housekeeping - Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area on the job.
