Job Title

Work Schedule

Second Shift (Afternoons): 2:30PM to 11:00PM Tuesday through Saturday

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Various outside weather conditions, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

A day in the Life:

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on facilities systems and production equipment
• Operate, maintain, and improve the site's industrial wastewater treatment system

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED Required

Experience: 1+ years in a mechanical role

Experience in a manufacturing plant environment

Self-starting with initiative to identify and solve problems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems

Excellent communication skills

Ability to read complex schematics and engineering drawings

Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial vehicle (PIV) certification

Ability to wear an air purifying respirator

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $25.00$27.00.
