Finance & Payroll Assistant

Finance & Payroll Assistant Job Description Includes Support payroll processing by verifying employee hours, deductions, adjustments, and payroll accuracy. Partner with the payroll team to prepare and process weekly payroll. Process payroll-related transactions including returned pay, garnishments, vacation payouts, and employee termination. Maintain and reconcile Paid Time Off (PTO) balances and employee requests. Manage Accounts Payable by entering vendor invoices, processing payments, and maintaining AP aging reporting. Review daily cash and sales reports and assist with month-end financial reconciliation Provide ongoing aministrative support and financial reports to the Leadership Team Complete assigned Time & Labor reviews as part of the HR and payroll oversight. Utilize and continuously improve business systems including Paylocity, QuickBooks, CrunchTime, Orackle, R&A, POS Administration, etc. What We’re Looking Bacherlor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Two or more years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounting support, or a related function. Proficiency in QuickBooks or accounting system; experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform is strongly preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to learn new technology and automation too Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
