Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Maternal - Newborn Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Mother Baby RN — Swedish Health, Seattle, WA Assignment Details Shift: Days, 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Weekends: 6 weekend days per contract Float required to sister campuses: Issaquah (Postpartum), Edmonds (Postpartum), and Labor & Delivery (for the 2nd hour of recovery) — refusal to float may result in assignment termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours Charting: Epic (hard requirement) About the Unit Large-volume, high-census facility with a diverse High Risk Obstetric patient population Standard assignment is 4 couplets; must be able to manage a 4th couplet during census surges Postpartum care following delivery Requirements 2 years of experience required (screened out under 2 years) — first-time travelers accepted if they meet this bar with high-acuity PP experience High Risk Obstetric care experience required Magnesium administration experience required Experience with Pitocin, Foley catheters, postpartum hemorrhage, and substance withdrawal BLS and NRP required Eligibility Note: Permanent employees from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months.
