About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Group Account Director with a strong background in pharma or healthcare advertising, particularly with HCP experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing brand strategy, ensuring its tactical implementation, and providing both short- and long-term direction for the brand. This role involves creating new business in line with brand strategy, offering strategic direction and approvals in the advertising creative process, and generating actionable brand insights to present to clients. The VP, Group Account Director will also be expected to have a strong grasp of innovative trends in healthcare, manage account finances, build client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Applicants must have at least 10 years' experience in the field, with a preference for those with global brand experience and a background in product launch. The role requires strong communication, presentation, and conceptual skills, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and have a proven track record in pharmaceutical advertising account services. Entrepreneurial skills in business development, the ability to manage multiple-agency collaborations, and a commitment to the core values of the company are also essential. The role demands a professional who can model the values of courage, curiosity, generosity, and grit, and who is adept at building and leading a team.
