ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1985 and currently lead a team of two. Before becoming an agent, I spent 18 years as a school teacher before being recruited into the insurance industry. My background in education helped shape my passion for helping others, building relationships, and guiding people through important decisions.

I’m a graduate of Cornell University and also earned a library certification from Iowa State University, along with a master’s degree in English. I am also a registered financial professional and hold professional insurance designations, allowing me to bring a broad range of knowledge and experience to the customers we serve.

Community involvement has always been important to me, and I enjoy supporting local events and staying active within the community.

As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Patricia J. Brown - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
• Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
