The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour availability of key services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and laboratory services, ensuring providers have the resources needed to deliver excellent patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician – Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage for an 11-bed ED with an average of 36 patient encounters per day
• Shifts scheduled 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week across block scheduling in October and November with potential ongoing need
• Onsite orientation required one day prior to the first block of assigned shifts
• Average of 3 inpatient admissions per day
• Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Charting via Meditech EMR system
• Support staff includes ED RNs and 1 APP on shift
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required
• Active Michigan medical license or IMLC licensure required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days; temporary privileges granted when needed
• Nearest airport: CMX – Hancock, Michigan
• Facility lodging available if needed
