TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of telemetry/step-down experience required. License: MO or compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: Telemetry/step-down experience, EKG, cardiac drips experience. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a telemetry position. The nurse will work in a high-risk cardiology unit. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. Weekend commitment is required every other weekend. The position does not require on-call duty. Certified Registered Nurses will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with accessing/managing ports and blood product administration is essential. The nurse will manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips without titration. Interpretation of dysrhythmias is a critical skill for this role. Nurses will care for adults with a variety of cardiac diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Special procedures performed in the unit include cardiac catheterization and echocardiograms. This role involves working with special equipment and technology. All travelers will float within the service line as required. Compliance deadlines and requirements are in place for all candidates. Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the contract. No time off requests will be accommodated during the first week of the assignment.
