Medical Assistant - Findlay, Ohio

Location: Findlay, OH

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Findlay, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical setting and be comfortable providing both clinical and front-office support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients, supporting providers, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to a positive, team-based healthcare environment.

• Measure and accurately record patient vital signs, including weight, height, blood pressure, and other required measurements.

• Obtain and document patient interviews, medical histories, vital signs, treatments, and test results accurately and promptly in the EMR.

• Assist medical staff with patient examinations and clinical procedures.

• Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and inventory; prepare and sterilize instruments as required.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and organizational information in accordance with federal and state regulations and organizational policies.

• Perform front-office duties, including patient reception, check-in/check-out, payment collection, and electronic appointment scheduling.

• Assist patients with scheduling internal and external referrals.

• Perform routine screening tests as permitted and directed.

• Independently draw blood samples as directed and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

• Collect and properly prepare other ordered laboratory specimens.

• Prepare and administer ordered injectable medications and immunizations, as permitted by applicable regulations and organizational policies.

• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and perform other basic first-aid procedures as directed.

• Previous Medical Assistant experience in a family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, walk-in clinic, or similar healthcare setting.

• Comfortable performing independent blood draws/venipuncture

Schedule

Full-Time | Onsite

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing direct patient care, clinical responsibilities, documentation, and front-office duties while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
