Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health issues, strengths, and resources that can facilitate their healing journey.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy, tailored to students’ specific needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include clear, measurable goals and interventions, ensuring that families are part of the treatment process.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive network for students in crisis.

• Provide crisis intervention, team consultations, and risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellness of students during turbulent times.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans timely and accurately, adhering to ethical and legal standards in social work practice.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that empower students with coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be children and adolescents within the school system who are experiencing various mental health challenges. This includes supporting students with anxiety, depression, difficulties due to trauma, and other behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is a mandatory requirement.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
