**Operating in a seven on seven off schedule** 7p-7a; 7 on 7 off Certs Reuqired: ACLS, BLS, CRT, State licensed Skills: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) No Locals < 50 miles Call Required: Y EPIC Required Operating in a seven on seven off schedule Patient Diagnoses: Use of Phillips V60 Bipap, Bipap Vision and Teleflex High Flow Nasal Cannulas preferred Special Procedures/Unit Details: Small community hospital respiratory therapy department managing emphysema, asthma and other respiratory disease processes. We do non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, ABG draws and analysis, and chest physiotherapy. Invasive Ventilation is stabilized in the emergency room and shipped to our sister hospital CPH. We run primarily 12 hour shifts 7a-7p & 7p-7a with one 8 hour shift on Fridays to make an 80 hour work pay period. On Friday nights from 1 a.m.- 7 a.m. on call is required.
