This position will research billing errors, issue debit or credit memos to resolve billing errors, and work with other departments to provide customer requested documents that are not part of the normal billing cycle.Key Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsProcess daily billing filesResearch billing inquiries and issues and partner with Sales to provide resolutionsCollaborate with Accounting and Sales to answer questions and solve problemsProvide support and backup to the Invoicing SupervisorMay train and mentor other clerical staff on billing functionsRegular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required3 years of Accounting related experience preferredAdvanced PC skills with experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook requiredMicrosoft Dynamics GP experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient use of 10-KeyHighly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet specific deadlinesAbility to work in a high volume, transaction driven environmentAbility to make sound decisions utilizing the data at handExcellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationshipsPhysical RequirementsLift, push, or pull objects of various dimensions up to 30 lbs. of weight frequentlyAbility to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walkingAbility to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to verbally communicate, hear, and seeEEO StatementWe consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetics, marital or protected veteran status.
