Immediate Need in Clearwater. FL for a
Manufacturing Technician . $23 or more DOE- 1st shift Monday-Friday- temp to hire opportunity- eligible for benefits 60 days after 16 weeks/temp/hire. Company pays 90% of benefits!!!!

Reports to: Engineering Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support manufacturing operations:

Understand operator challenges
Participate in manufacturing process execution
Root cause determination
Design innovative solutions through process, tooling and technology
Support training efforts

Solve problems by partnering with team:

Consult with other engineers and tech experts
Instigate vendor relations about new technologies
Collaborate with machining experts
Contribute to design reviews
Contribute to risk assessments

Establish new manufacturing operations:

Build engineering prototypes
Build low volume products
Establish build processes and work instructions
Design and develop tooling

Contribute to verification and validation practices:

Specify product requirements
Establish verification and validation plans
Execute tests on product
Ensure that process execution is in accordance with plan & documentation

Qualifications / Requirements

2-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
Proficient communication skills.
Proficient with SolidWorks.
Must have keen attention to detail and quality.

Desired Qualification s

3 to 5 years of professional experience.
SolidWorks experience preferred.
Related military experience.
Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
