Part-Time ReceptionistLifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our Madison, AL team as a Part-Time Receptionist. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and donors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist visitors, donors, applicants, vendors, and employees in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiriesDirect visitors to the appropriate department or staff memberCollect and accurately enter donor demographic information into applicable systems or logsReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, and coordinate outgoing mail or packagesMaintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception areaProvide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and preparing documentsSchedule appointments, meetings, or conference rooms as neededMaintain visitor logs, sign-in procedures, badges, and other front-desk security protocolsSkills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office softwareStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, administrative support, or other public-facing role, preferredLifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Starting salary range is $15.00 - $16.50 an hour. Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
