What you will do Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients. Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S‑corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle‑market to multinational companies. Participate in tax research projects, draft IRS responses and address inquiries from tax authorities. Team with leaders on special projects involving corporate and flow‑through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC740. Develop recommendations for clients and collaborate with leadership to discuss and strategize. Communicate with specialty tax practices on complicated matters in state/local, high‑net‑worth, international, R&D, credits and incentives areas. Learn and grow through on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring and firm‑wide learning & development programs. Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients. Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work‑life balance. Minimum Qualifications 1 year of experience. 4‑year degree. License eligible. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law or a related business degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA or bar exam. CPA or JD license (preferred). 1+ year experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm. Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration and problem solving. Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative and adaptability. Microsoft Suite skills. There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position. The pay rate range for this position is $70,220.00 to $92,170.00. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors including applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees/certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
