In this role, you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and help to support the orderly movement of employees, visitors, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and team members regarding security-related concerns, operational changes, and/or incidents that may affect the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
