REMOTE BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEY

A national law firm providing legal services to financial institutions seeks a Bankrutpcy Attorney for their Georgia team. This role is REMOTE. There will be occasional appearances, so candidates must be able to attend occasional hearings in Georgia.  The Bankruptcy Attorney will defend lendors and creditors in litigated and contested bankruptcy matters. Position requires (a) 1+ years of chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy experience; (b) an active license to practice in Georgia.

salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare various Motions, Objections, Claims and Orders associated with representation of clients in Bankruptcy matters.
• Defend litigated and contested matters in Bankruptcy Cases, including Adversary Complaints and Appeals.
• Attend various court hearings associated with representation of clients in bankruptcy matters.
• Representation of clients in various mortgage mediation matters associated with bankruptcy cases.
