Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.Qualifications and requirementsMental Health Tech - Under the supervision of nursing staff, provides direct patient care and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.Reports to: Senior Behavioral Health DirectorEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredLicense: CNA PreferredCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 45 days of hire; Handle with Care (HWC) must be obtained within 45 days of hireRequired Skills :Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Essential FunctionsAssists patients with performing activities of daily living.Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.Observes and records patient behavior and activities.
