IME values safety, quality, and professional growth, and offers career advancement opportunities. About This Role IME is seeking a BIM/VDC Lead to join their growing team in Denver, Colorado. The candidate will lead the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes throughout all phases of construction projects, partnering with project teams to manage the creation of 3D Revit models for BIM coordination and production of field and fabrication drawings. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of BIM processes and methodologies within assigned projects and develop BIM execution plans that meet industry standards. Create and manage detailed 3D models in BIM software, conduct clash detection analyses, and resolve design conflicts to reduce errors and rework. Collaborate and communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to facilitate seamless information exchange on digital platforms. Utilize VDC processes to enhance project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation, including simulation techniques for construction sequencing and logistics. Provide training and support to project teams on BIM and VDC best practices. Stay informed on industry trends and recommend improvements as necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. Strong understanding of construction processes and project life cycles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Experience with scripting or programming for BIM automation (Dynamo a plus). Familiarity with cloud‑based collaboration platforms. Functional knowledge of total station tools for field layout. Education and Experience Associate or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer‑Aided Drafting, or related field. 5+ years of progressive experience as a BIM/VDC Project Lead in the construction industry. Electrical construction experience desired. Certifications in BIM/VDC‑related technologies a plus. Working Conditions The role is primarily office based, with occasional onsite visits to construction job sites that involve typical construction conditions such as extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and confined spaces. Multiple locations may be visited during a single day. Employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first of the month after hire. Salary Range $79,000 – $120,750 per year, based on education, experience, and skills.
