About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Engineering to spearhead the evolution of its AI-powered virtual try-on and styling platform. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming the product into an enterprise-ready solution for leading retail partners. This role demands a strategic leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, AI/ML, and Commercial, to define technical strategies, enhance the execution engine, and foster a culture of high-quality, consistent product delivery. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for scaling the engineering organization, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining a strong focus on system design, architectural judgment, and security-minded engineering. Applicants for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within high-growth environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, including proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+, React), Node.js, Python, Ruby, and Java. Experience with databases, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and a proven track record of integrating with external partner systems is essential. The role also calls for excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to align stakeholders, and a focus on creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
