Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years. Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred. Requirements Candidates must have an Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Summit Healthcare Association. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Required Skills/Experience: Strong neuro and cardiac skills. Unit Details: Med-surg unit with telemetry capability on all beds; heavy on telemetry. Adult and pediatric patients; travelers do not take pediatric assignments, which are assigned to permanent staff. Support staff includes telemetry techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs. Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 peds, based on acuity. Nurse managers do not provide patient care but do rounds. Hospitalist in house 24/7. No IV team. Respiratory therapist and pharmacy available 24/7. Floating Requirements: Float to all med-surg units and ICU for med-surg overflow patients.
