Process Architect (Technical Writer)

Salary: $91,400 - 187,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for strong technical writing and information architecture skills, with the ability to turn complex operational and technical workflows into clear, compliant, and globally usable documentation.
• We value solid change-management and stakeholder-engagement abilities, including the capacity to translate operational goals and risk factors into structured, measurable, and adoptable standards.
• We need strong project execution and organizational skills, with experience managing documentation initiatives across multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders.
• We prefer hands-on experience with digital documentation and process tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, and BPM or workflow platforms.
• We look for experience supporting knowledge transfer through process walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and technical training sessions for geographically distributed teams.

• We will have you design and document end-to-end operational processes for mission-critical data center operations across electrical, mechanical, environmental, security, and compliance areas.
• You will translate complex technical and operational workflows into clear, accurate, and actionable documentation for a globally distributed operations workforce.
• You will author and maintain high-quality SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, emergency response procedures, and engineering standards, ensuring consistency, usability, and technical accuracy.
• You will ensure documentation aligns with applicable industry standards and frameworks, including ITIL, ISO 27001 / 14001, ASHRAE, NFPA, and Uptime Institute Tier guidelines, along with our internal security and compliance requirements.
• You will manage document lifecycle activities such as version control, change tracking, peer review coordination, and audit readiness to support internal and external compliance needs.
• You will collaborate with automation, IT, and facilities engineering teams to integrate operational documentation into our digital knowledge and workflow platforms.
• You will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, applying operational feedback and incident learnings, and updating documentation to support safer and more reliable execution.
• You will partner with business and process subject matter experts to define system specifications, analyze gaps, resolve issues, and ensure business needs are met.
• You will advise business teams on resource allocation, address project team issues, help ensure deliverables are completed, and present project plans for stakeholder alignment.
• You will understand and apply relevant theories to policies and the operating environment to complete assignments effectively and efficiently.
