Why This Opportunity Stands Out $140K–$160K base salary plus discretionary bonus Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule Direct exposure to executive leadership Full ownership of the accounting function, including financial reporting, close, cash, payroll, AP/AR, and inventory Lead a team of 5 direct reports with additional indirect oversight Opportunity to improve processes, reporting, and systems without having to rebuild the accounting function from scratch Stable, established organization with consistent growth Excellent opportunity for an Accounting Manager looking to step into their first Controller position Key Responsibilities Controller Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company Oversee the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory costing Oversee cash management, banking relationships, AP, AR, and payroll Lead and develop the accounting team Coordinate the annual audit and support tax and compliance requirements Oversee quarterly physical inventory and standard costing Partner with leadership on forecasting, reporting, and business decisions Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting Qualifications Of The Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Progressive accounting experience with supervisory or management responsibility Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge Advanced Excel skills Annual audit experience required Inventory and/or costing experience preferred Sage 100 experience is a plus Tax or public accounting experience is a plus Consumer products, retail, or experience working with major retailers is a plus Power BI experience is a plus CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
