About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary President & CEO to lead its mission of advocating for and supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed leader, with a proven track record in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and relationship building. This role requires a decisive leader who can guide the organization through the creation and execution of a new strategic plan, ensuring that the company grows, adapts, and thrives in a challenging funding landscape. The President & CEO will be responsible for day-to-day operations, fiscal oversight, and fundraising, and must be adept at fostering innovation, empowering teams, and maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment. Key responsibilities for the President & CEO include leadership and management, advocacy and external relations, strategy and financial health, and board relations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of state and federal policies that impact the work of the company, and a demonstrated ability to secure funding from diverse sources. They should be a strong communicator, capable of representing the company at various levels, and have a commitment to quality programs and data-driven evaluation. The role also involves maintaining the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity, and the candidate should be prepared to undergo a series of clearances prior to hire.
