Step into a vital role supporting the health and well-being of elementary and middle school students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15AM–3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week. The contract runs from September 4th through June 25th, providing stability and valuable experience for the right RN. Key Qualifications Active RN licensure with valid New Jersey School Nurse credentials Demonstrated school-based nursing experience (required) Comfortable managing health services and overseeing care across entire school buildings Experienced with elementary and middle school student populations Reliable transportation and a short, manageable commute Able to service caseloads efficiently and effectively Willing to complete onboarding: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting (agency and district) Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care for students with diverse needs Monitor and manage healthcare plans, medications, and emergency responses Oversee health program compliance and collaborate with educational staff Assess, triage, and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day Maintain accurate health records and comply with NJ State and district reporting requirements Foster a nurturing, supportive environment to promote student well-being This is an exceptional opportunity for an RN who thrives in dynamic educational settings and is committed to making a positive difference in young lives.
