We are looking to hire a Recruiter  in the city of Long Beach, CA.  This is a Direct Hire  opportunity to join a our Recruiting Team! 

Recruiter in Long Beach, CA — $25.00 to start, moving to salary plus commission after introductory period. We hire for drive, then we train for skill. Immediate start.

THE BASICS:

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour during a 90-day introductory period, then [CONFIRM RANGE] annually plus commission
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Long Beach, CA (on-site)
Type: Direct hire, full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible)

ABOUT THE ROLE"

We've brought in plenty of recruiters with years of experience, and most of them still had gaps when they got here. So we stopped trying to buy a finished product. We hire people with drive who genuinely want to get better, and then we train them on our process from the ground up — with a Learning & Development department, weekly training, and a manager who's invested in you getting good.

The standard here is high. We'll be direct with you about where you stand and what to fix. But nobody gets dropped in and left to figure it out, and nobody here is rooting against you.

You'll own a desk — finding the people, screening them, getting them submitted, and getting them placed for skilled manufacturing roles across aerospace, food and beverage, automotive, and electronics. If you're decent at this now and want to be genuinely good at it in a year, that's the offer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Source, screen, and process candidates to close your team's open requisitions
• Own candidate management in the ATS and keep it clean and current
• Build and submit candidate submittal packages to Account Managers for skilled roles
• Build and maintain active pipelines in your top 4–5 skillsets
• Coordinate interviews between contractors and clients, and prep your candidates before they walk in
• Post and refresh requisitions across Indeed, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, and other boards
• Market strong candidates (MPCs) to Account Managers to open up new business
• Partner with FLAG Support Group to start onboarding ahead of placement, and run reference checks on key roles
  

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience — agency, staffing, or high-volume in-house
• Coachability, genuinely. You'll be trained on our process, and the people who thrive here want that
• Hands-on experience with an ATS or HRIS
• The ability to carry a busy desk and know what to pick up first
• Clear communication and follow-through people can count on
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office and quick with new systems
• High school diploma

NICE TO HAVE:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• 4+ years of full-desk agency recruiting
• ATS experience
• Recruiting into manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments
• Bachelor's degree

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

On-site office role in Long Beach. Business casual. Extended periods at a desk and on the phone, with regular computer use. Occasional travel between our Long Beach and Fullerton offices.
