PURCHASING CLERK-1ST SHIFT

Purchasing Clerk

Position at JBS USA

Location: JBS Omaha Beef Plant

Reporting to: Purchasing Supervisor

Essential Job Functions:

• Receiving supplies into store room as they are brought in
• Distributing supplies to individuals that are coming in for supplies
• Perform cycle counts and audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracy
• Verify physical counts of inventory identifying variances from previous day
• Assist in maintaining chemical inventory
• All other duties as assigned by Purchasing Supervisor or Manager

Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required
• Experience working with inventory preferred but not required
• SAP experience preferred but not required

Skills/Abilities Required:

• Knowledge and understanding of all purchasing and safety policies
• Good phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills
• General mathematical skills
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more
• Must be able to work flexible hours primarily 6am 6 pm - including weekends
