Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inbound Receiving Lead to oversee daily receiving operations, manage inventory entry, and direct dock activities. In this role, you will ensure all incoming shipments are unloaded safely and efficiently, verified against orders, and accurately logged into our system.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Dock Coordination: Schedule inbound deliveries and prepare dock space, labor, and equipment in advance. Direct material handlers during unloading to maintain a steady workflow and maximize productivity.
• Shipment Verification & Inspection: Carefully inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies. Cross-check all materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• System Data Entry: Accurately process and record the receipt of all incoming goods into Microsoft Dynamics AX in a timely manner.
• Safety & Process Control: Oversee unloading operations to ensure full compliance with facility safety standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or lead/supervisory roles.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve shipment discrepancies effectively.
• Solid communication and leadership skills to direct dock staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Ability to lift, move materials, and operate standard warehouse equipment safely.
