Lateral Associate - Corporate Investment Funds

Job Overview A law firm seeks a lateral associate for their corporate investment funds practice in Houston, TX. The candidate will join a team focused on sponsor-side private equity fund formation, providing expert legal advice and support. Duties Advise sponsors on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds. Draft and negotiate fund documentation. Manage investor negotiations. Counsel clients on ongoing compliance obligations. Requirements Law school class years 2019 to 2022. Significant experience in private investment funds. Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks. Strong communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
