Financial Account Analyst STGi is currently seeking a Financial Account Analyst to support our Federal Occupational Health (FOH) contract in Rockville, MD. Position type: Hybrid. Job Summary The Financial Account Analyst is trained in basic accounts receivable, GAAP, basic knowledge of appropriation law. Duties include an administrative review of Inter‑Agency Agreements (IAA), monitoring of the spend rate, collection of rejected bills and coordination of resolution, providing various billing reports to customers, and responding to finance office and program managers. The analyst partners with operation leads, account executives, and program managers for Federal Occupational Health (FOH) service areas. Essential Functions Address funding issues (missing, outstanding, or short funding) with customers, recommend project funding required for the remainder of the fiscal year, provide requested reports, and resolve billing issues at month end. Review per‑capitated agreements and validate funds availability for all service areas; respond to general customer service inquiries; assist account executives and operational leads in maintaining customer relationships. Work with FOH program manager to review and recommend financial adjustments to customer proposed funding based on actual services requested. Explain recommendations for financial adjustments based on actual services. Review customer funding proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with FOH policies, procedures and applicable regulations. Review and analyze customer budgets to identify trending patterns and anomalies in expenditures. Monitor customer spending to ensure appropriate draw‑down against billing charges for services. Inform FOH program staff of status and availability of customer funds for services. Communicate analysis results of customer accounts effectively. Deobligation activities closeout of IAA includes research deobligation funding requests, verify customer data matches FOH records, check pending charges, coordinate with operations leads, route requests for signatory approval, return executed requests, upload deobligation forms, and adjust allocations in the FOH system. Enter funding levels and revenue estimates for customers in the FOH system; resolve accounts receivable, chargeback, and credit card reject issues; assist customers with status reports; perform charge quality assurance related to per‑capita calculations and funds availability; run utilization reports; evaluate and review population changes with the per‑capita manager and finance manager for operational divisions. Assist in the preparation for customer meetings; prepare a financial information packet mailed to the customer and received via secure fax; evaluate, notify, and review billing errors with the operating division. Prepare summary reports or other reports as needed. Required Skills One (1) year experience in customer service in a health‑related field or three (3) years of experience in customer account management service (including accounts receivable activity). Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and basic Word) and customer relations experience; ability to learn new systems. Works well independently and as a team member; excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑through; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; understanding of internal and external customer service as demonstrated on the resume. Required Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting) or Bachelor’s Degree.
