Project Scheduler II

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support Project Managers with a large utility client. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and updating Primavera P6 schedules by working closely with project managers and vendors. The scheduler will serve as the central point for consolidating schedule inputs across multiple groups and ensuring that all work—whether directly owned by PMO or not—is represented accurately in a single, comprehensive schedule. You will work closely with: Project Managers, vendors, and contracting teams. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Primavera P6 schedules

• Collect schedule updates from multiple sources, including:

○ Project Managers

○ Vendors

○ Contracting teams

• Input updated schedule information when:

○ Vendors report delays or changes

○ Project timelines shift based on real‑world execution

• Maintain a large, integrated schedule that includes:

○ PMO work

○ Contracting work

○ Customer jobs that pass through contracting

• Update schedules daily as new information is received

• Consolidate schedules to provide a forward‑looking view of:

○ Vendor and crew workload

○ Peaks and gaps in work over future months

• Use schedule data to support planning decisions such as:

○ Identifying heavy work periods vs. lighter months

○ Supporting workload rebalancing

○ Informing vendor resourcing needs

This role is looking to pay between $45-60/hr based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

• Experience working with Primavera P6

• Ability to build schedules from multiple inputs

• Comfortable working with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Able to interpret changing project conditions and reflect them accurately in schedules
