This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, with a heavy emphasis on answering and managing incoming patient calls. Answering and managing high-volume inbound phone calls (25-150 calls/day) Checking patients in and out Assisting patients with appointments and general inquiries Documenting and navigating patient information within ModMed EMR Providing administrative support to the front office team Learning additional front desk functions to provide backup coverage as needed Maintaining a professional and customer-focused experience for patients Collaborating with a team-oriented front office staff What We’re Looking For: 1+ years of patient access and customer experience Experience with registering patients High school diploma or GED required EMR experience preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
