About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the firm's financial operations and contributing to the long-term business strategy. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strategic and hands-on approach, responsible for all financial management aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. The CFO will also provide essential support for partner compensation, maintain banking relationships, and oversee overall financial planning and analysis. This executive will serve as a trusted advisor to the firm's leadership, offering financial insight, business analysis, and operational guidance to ensure the firm's continued growth and profitability. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include leading the financial strategy, aligning financial goals with the strategic plan, and advising on financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities. The role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax requirements, and managing relationships with banks, insurers, and outside financial advisors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA and/or MBA preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, particularly in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of law firm economics, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a high level of professionalism are essential for this position.
