Position Title University Program Specialist - Journey (Office Manager and Program Coordinator) Location Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Salary $59,350 – $62,000 per year (NC12 / GN11) Hours 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 9 a.m.‑5 p.m. Overview The Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice (OIPEP) serves as a liaison between UNC system schools, university partners and external agencies. The University Program Specialist – Journey will lead administrative processes and program coordination for interprofessional education, health professions advising, and experiential learning throughout UNC‑Chapel Hill. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day administrative duties and provide program coordination for interprofessional education and experiential learning. Plan, organize and execute events, communications, and financial and human‑resources assistance. Act as liaison within the Health Professions Collaborative and serve as primary contact for the public. Provide project and program management for educational initiatives, including development, planning, and implementation of new interprofessional initiatives. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal staff, strategic partners, and external affiliates. Assess and respond to stakeholder needs, prioritizing multiple complex and confidential pieces of information. Provide leadership to work‑study students and support office staff. Qualifications Minimum education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of university financial systems. Proficiency with learning management systems such as Canvas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong organizational and project‑management skills. Knowledge or experience with interprofessional education.
