Social Worker, LMSW - Weekends

Location Medical Center - Fort Worth Department Case Management Shift Weekend Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours 20 Summary This Social Worker will provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, case management/discharge planning, referral linkage, and emotionally supportive counseling aimed at maintaining functional behavior within families. The social worker assesses patients for needed assistance with resource procurement that aids the family's efforts in caring for their child and makes referrals to outside agencies for families in need of assistance. Must be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and perform administrative tasks. Hours Saturdays & Sundays 2:00pm - 12:30am Required Education & Experience MSW or MSSW from an accredited school. Previous experience in a medical setting preferred. Prior experience working with children and families preferred. Required Certification/Licensure Current Texas License for LMSW. Basis Life Support (BLS) Certification for Health Care Providers required within 30 days of employment.
