This role is performed remotely, allowing our Mental Health Counselors the flexibility to connect with clients in a safe and comfortable setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their unique emotional and psychological care needs.

• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions that address the emotional complexities associated with aging, including anxiety, depression, and adjustments to life changes.

• Educate families and staff on mental health strategies to enhance the quality of life and emotional well-being for older adults, providing them with tools and resources to support their loved ones effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on the mental health needs of elderly individuals who may be dealing with various issues related to aging, including loneliness, depression, anxiety, and grief. Our counselors play a critical role in providing empathetic support and tailored interventions that recognize the complexities of aging, ensuring that each client feels heard and valued.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Successful completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting.
\n
• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Massachusetts.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport quickly with clients and their families.

• Strong listening skills combined with the capacity to empathize while providing constructive guidance to clients.

• Attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills are essential for managing client records and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient or community health clinic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, along with a sign-on bonus opportunity. Additional benefits include:
