Location: Lubbock, TX
Position Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an Acute Care Hospital setting in Lubbock, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking to expand their acute care experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) License .
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Physical Therapy experience .
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
