Job Overview
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook grilled meats, sides and menu items to La Tremenda's recipes and standards, working the parrilla and hot line during service. Set up, stock and break down your station; keep it clean, organized and ready for the next shift. Follow portioning, plating and food safety guidelines, and communicate clearly with the kitchen team and the chef to keep tickets moving on time.
Skills
At least one year of line cook experience, preferably in a steakhouse, grill or high-volume kitchen; grill experience is a strong plus. Ability to work fast and stay calm during a busy service, with attention to consistency and cleanliness. Reliable, punctual and a team player; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Spanish and/or English. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; valid work documents are required at hiring.
Benefits
$18 per hour, full-time and part-time schedules available. Family-style, respectful work environment with a stable team and a growing Latin steakhouse in Doral. Workers' compensation coverage and all benefits required by law. Meals during your shift.
