Warehouse Technician IHot JobCA Corona Parkridge - Corona, CA 92879OverviewSalary Range $22.00 - $23.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionSummary/Purpose of the Position:The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks.Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materialsPrepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completionWorks closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of productsEnsures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill ratesMonitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle countsMust maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operationsMust maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicableMust follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving productsAssist with ISO quality assuranceResponsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safetyMust facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfactionMust wear appropriate safety gear while on dutyMust monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse areaMaintain a good attendance and punctualityOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:High School diploma or GED required2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industryWarehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred)2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliationHazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hireMay be required to possess a valid driver's license and be subject to periodic DMV checksOrganizational skillsAttention to detailSense of urgency in responsivenessAbility to adapt to workplace Environment & Organizational changeMust be reliable, dependable, punctual, maintain good attendance and conscientious about production performanceKnowledgeable of "two-tier" reporting, if applicableComputer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving softwarePhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.This position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; TestEquity does not sponsor applicants for work visas.TestEquity provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
