Lead Coordinator: Testing and Graduation Reporting (2026-2027) Starting Date: Jul 27, 2026 Job Description The Lead Coordinator: Testing and Graduation Reporting supports the high school principal and administrative team by leading and executing state and division test administrations, supporting the high school improvement process, and overseeing graduation data reporting at the school level. The position is responsible for oversight and implementation of testing structures for grades 9‑12 and coordinating with a wide variety of secondary school staff. In addition, the Lead Coordinator represents the testing team on the high school Graduation Task Force and participates in the school improvement planning process. This is an 11‑month, 216‑day high‑school licensed position, reporting to the school principal and the director of high‑school counseling. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (required). Master’s Degree preferred. Certifications & Licenses: Valid Virginia Department of Education teaching collegiate or postgraduate license with an endorsement in a secondary area, or a Pupil Personnel Services license with an endorsement in school counseling. Experience: Job‑related experience in a specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility. Knowledge: Familiarity with common test administration procedures, SOL data reporting requirements, state and federal accountability systems, continuous improvement planning, and process improvement strategies. Competence in word processing (e.g., Word), databases (e.g., Excel, Access), and other computer applications. Skills: Planning and managing multiple simultaneous projects; coordinating across multiple stakeholders; presenting information orally, visually, or in writing; using pertinent software applications; preparing and maintaining accurate data files and records; operating standard office equipment. Essential Functions Lead the Titan Testing Team of three members responsible for testing students in grades 9‑12 across four campuses. Create, maintain, and promote a user‑friendly, school‑wide data tracking system aligned with graduation requirements and the Profile of a Virginia Graduate. Plan and execute student testing in grades 9‑12, including state, local, and nationally normed tests (PSAT/SAT, Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, CTE Industry Certifications, Standards of Learning). Coordinate with school counselors and special‑education case managers to ensure proper testing accommodations. Strategically develop staff teams to execute test administrations collaboratively. Supervise and evaluate the Testing Coordinators at the high school. Serve as an integral testing member of the High School Graduation Task Force. Co‑lead the school‑wide Titan Testing Committee, a collaborative planning and execution team for school‑wide testing. Collaborate with the executive principal, director of counseling, administration, division, and community members to prepare for federal, state, and district governance, accountability meetings, reports, and audits. Compile and complete detailed data analysis and reports to coordinate interventions and advance high achievement across all school quality indicators. Work closely with the executive principal and director of counseling to pull, analyze, and present data to aid decision‑making related to continuous improvement in programmatic and student outcome data (academic achievement, civic engagement, attendance, behavior). Perform professional, supervisory, technical, and administrative tasks related to the implementation and administration of all district, statewide, federal, and college‑entrance preparatory tests. Attend meetings and training sessions as a liaison with the Department of Accountability and Department of Technology Services when appropriate. Gather and assimilate data related to student progression from grade 9 through graduation to increase on‑time graduation rates and reduce dropout rates. Consult and provide data and analysis to administrators, instructional leadership teams, teachers, and other staff to support division goals and the School Improvement Plan. Provide test data and analysis to department chairs, counselors, and administrators to support improved student achievement and the School Improvement Plan. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required. Comply with criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance and tuberculosis skin test requirements. Follow public‑health safety and health protocols. Compensation Step placement and salary are determined by the ACPS Teachers and Other Licensed Staff Salary Scale.
