Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in a specialized laboratory setting. This role ensures patient safety and procedural success through technical expertise and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and operate catheterization lab equipment for cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist cardiologists during procedures such as PCI, electrophysiology studies, and device implants.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and ensure adherence to sterile techniques throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Support equipment troubleshooting and supply management to ensure smooth workflow.
  
  
• 
  Follow unit policies, procedures, and safety standards to foster quality patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold valid certification as a Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS/RCES preferred).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab environment.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong technical skills with cardiac catheterization and associated equipment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work rotating weekends and be on call as required.
