About the Role

The Collage Companies is seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our team in Lake Mary, Florida. This is an office-based position responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across multiple commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of construction sequencing and understands how project activities, manpower, procurement, subcontractors, inspections, and project milestones come together to drive successful project completion.

This role will work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and other members of the project team to ensure schedules are accurate, actionable, and consistently updated.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules from preconstruction through project completion.
• Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to establish realistic project durations, sequencing, milestones, and critical activities.
• Update project schedules regularly based on actual project progress and changes in field conditions.
• Analyze schedule performance and identify potential delays, critical-path issues, and schedule risks.
• Assist project teams with recovery schedules and mitigation strategies when projects fall behind schedule.
• Coordinate schedule updates with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders as needed.
• Track key milestones including procurement, submittals, inspections, material deliveries, mobilization, and major construction activities.
• Review project schedules for logic, sequencing, durations, relationships, and overall constructability.
• Provide schedule analysis and reporting to project leadership.
• Support project teams during project meetings by providing schedule updates and identifying upcoming activities and potential constraints.
• Assist with developing baseline schedules, updates, look-ahead schedules, and schedule narratives.
• Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and ensure schedule information aligns with project requirements and contract obligations.
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams when developing schedules for proposals and new projects.
• Perform other scheduling and project-support responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or similar organization.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, sequencing, and project execution.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project .
• Ability to understand construction drawings, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to identify schedule conflicts and communicate potential impacts clearly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
