Overview Location: Saint Louis Park, MN, USA | Employment type: Full time | Requisition: R26_0000017058 Job Title Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities Provide a superior customer service experience to achieve market penetration, drive store growth, and increase sales and profitability. Lead daily operations and foster a culture of employee engagement. Partner with teammates to drive store initiatives and company programs. Care about people and profit; support the store team to learn and grow. Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in a fast-paced retail environment. Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits, and customer service. Build, coach, train, and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results. Inventory protection, asset management, and addressing operational and safety issues. Maintain overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas. Drive operational and marketing programs while pursuing continuous process improvements. Grow customer relationships and assist with sales/service questions to ensure a positive experience in-store and on the phone. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus. Experience in the automotive after-market service industry, hobby/DIY, or willingness to learn automotive topics. Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment. Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems. Ability to lift 60 lbs as needed. Additional preferred areas: automotive industry experience, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership familiarity. Experience in parts store, auction, retail, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management. Customer-centric approach (external/internal). ASE Certifications and NAPA Know How are a plus. Compensation and Benefits Salary: This position offers an hourly pay of $19.50. Pay progression is available for many hourly positions, with potential progression to the top end of the range within 12 months of hire.
